The Daichan series allows you to complete working models by attaching impression models to the base (Daichan) with dowel pins and simply separating them. Compared to conventional methods, it reduces the time to create detachable models to one-third, resulting in significant time and cost savings.

Usage Instructions

  1. Smooth the base of the dental model with a trimmer. Ensure the base is flat to avoid detachment during adhesion.
  2. Mark the areas where you will insert the saw with lines.
  3. Check the position of the “”abutment teeth”” and the pins before setup. If the pins are not visible, use the anti-rotation groove as a guide.
  4. Apply a thin, even layer of gel-type instant adhesive (Daichan Bond) to the base of the model.
  5. Attach the model to the Daichan, aligning the pin positions.
  6. Solidify any excess adhesive with an accelerator.
  7. Confirm that the adhesive has cured and then separate the model using a saw to complete the process.

  1. Smooth the base of the dental model with a trimmer to ensure the base is flat and avoid detachment during adhesion.
  2. Confirm the base is flat and trim the model to fit the Pla Daichan F.
  3. Apply a thin, even layer of gel-type instant adhesive (Daichan Bond) to the base of the model.
  4. Attach the model to the Pla Daichan F, aligning the pin positions.

    Main causes and solutions
    1. Insufficient adhesive: Apply a thin, even layer of adhesive across the entire surface to ensure proper bonding.
    2. Uneven base surface: Smooth the base using a trimmer.
    3. Excessive heat from steamer: Keep the steam nozzle at least 3cm away.
      Avoid direct contact with the pin holes to prevent heat damage.
    4. To further enhance adhesion, use a carbide bur to create grooves on the impression model for better adhesive contact.

    No, only single pin types are available.
  • What brand of instant adhesive is recommended?Open
    We recommend using Daichan Bond.
    If using other brands, select a gel-type adhesive with medium viscosity.
  • Is Pla Daichan F entirely made of resin?Open
    Only the plate part is made of resin, while the base part is made of gypsum.
  • What is the difference between Daichan Full Arch and Pla Daichan F?Open
    Daichan Full Arch uses dowel pins.
    Pla Daichan F does not use metal dowel pins, making adhesion and separation easier.
    The top plate is made of special resin, while the base is made of gypsum.
  • Can the plate and base of Pla Daichan F be separated before use?Open
    They cannot be separated before use.
    After attaching the impression model, separate it by tapping the plate with a mallet.

    The resin used in the plate has high cuttability, reducing the likelihood of burring.
    If burring occurs, remove it with an art knife.

    When separating the plate from the base, lightly and slowly tap the lingual/palatal surface of the base while checking for lifting.
    Although the base is made of die stone it may break if struck too forcefully at a single point.
  •  What color is the content of Daichan Bond?Open
    It is colorless and transparent.
  •  How should Daichan Bond be stored? What is its shelf life?Open
    Store in a cool, dark place.
    After opening, close the cap tightly and use within one month.
    We recommend using within two years of purchase, even if unopened.

    It does not significantly affect adhesion strength.
    However, if excessively wet, the adhesive’s penetration into the gypsum may be reduced, lowering initial adhesion strength.
  •  How long should I wait after adhesion before starting separation work?Open
    The adhesive will harden in 15 minutes using an accelerator.
    Its strength increases as it dries, mainly due to the gypsum’s increasing strength.
